BECOME A MODERATOR.
OUTCAST is run by the community, for the community — and we’re looking for a few trusted survivors to help keep it that way.
What you’ll do
- Monitor the Discord server and in-game community to ensure a friendly, fair, and respectful environment.
- Welcome new players, answer questions, and help them get familiar with the server and its rules.
- Handle Discord tickets, player reports, and support requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor in-game activity and investigate suspicious behavior, potential cheating, exploits, or rule violations.
- Enforce server rules fairly and consistently, regardless of who is involved.
- De-escalate conflicts and handle player disputes calmly and professionally.
- Communicate with the Admin Team regarding serious incidents, rule changes, and recurring issues.
- Help maintain a positive and active community both on Discord and in-game.
- Keep an eye on the community and report anything that may negatively affect the server or its players.
What we’re looking for
- Active and engaged within the OUTCAST community.
- Comfortable using Discord, including channels, tickets, reports, and moderation tools.
- Fair, mature, and level-headed when dealing with players and conflicts.
- Good communication skills and the ability to remain professional under pressure.
- Reliable and able to check Discord and the server regularly — 24/7 availability is not required.
- Able to recognize suspicious behavior and know when an issue should be escalated to the Admin Team.
- Willing to work as part of a team and follow established procedures.
- No previous moderation experience is required. Good judgment, reliability, and the right attitude matter most.
